Work Share Calculator

The vision for this project was to build a functional calculator for the Office of Unemployment insurance and its Work Share program. This program was designed to make contributions from employers easier by allowing  employers to save money through this new program. Not every company would benefit from the program, however, as the standard method of contribution may still save them money, so this calculator was designed to be able to help employers determine if the new program would be better than the standard that had been used. This calculator was built on the agency’s existing system, but was otherwise built from scratch using HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Git.

Internal Benefits Manager

The internal system used by agents was in need of a refresh, as the old layout was confusing, hard to utilize, and cluttered. This initiative reordered the layout of the internal system to better suit the agents who would be utilizing the system. (All records listed are placeholders and hold no real value)

Internal Organizational Charts

Before this project was initialized, the Office of Unemployment Insurance had no way to search for peers or members of other departments. There was no organizational chart or other internal resource. The aim of this project was to create two central resources, one for the Office of Unemployment Insurance and one for the Division IT Services (DITS). These resources would lay out the organization of each agency and would allow managers to keep track of their employees and would also allow other users to reference other branches if they needed to make a cross-branch inquiry.
